This Blueberry crisp is really a perfect dessert. I love this recipe because it yields two servings, making it perfect for date night! I topped off the crisp with some dairy free vanilla ice cream. Also, this crisp is super low in sugar. Honestly, you could eat this for breakfast. Maybe leave out the ice cream, or don't. I wouldn't judge!
WHAT IS A CRISP DESSERT?
A crisp is a baked fruit dessert, topping is less dense than a crumble and normally includes oats on top.
Easy Vegan Gluten Free Healthy Blueberry crisp
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED :
- Blueberries , frozen or fresh
- rolled oats, used gluten free from Bob Reds Mill
- Coconut sugar
- Almond flour
- vanilla extract or powder
- Lemon juice
- diced apple
- Cinnamon
- melted coconut oil

CAN I USE FROZEN BLUEBERRIES FOR THIS RECIPE?
Yes! actually I made mine with frozen blueberries and the result is great!
KITCHEN TOOLS TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
- 2 Ramekins I used 4 oz
- Mixing bowls
HOW TO MAKE THIS BLUEBERRY CRISP:
- In a mixing bowl add the blueberries, diced apples, almond flour, vanilla extract and lemon juice, stir together and set aside.
- in a separate small bowl add the rolled oats, coconut sugar, melted coconut oil, almond flour and cinnamon, mix and set aside.
- divide the blueberry mixture between two ramekins and top with the oats mix.
- bake at 350°F/176°C for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve immediately with vegan vanilla ice cream on top, if you want!

Ingredients
The Base
- 1 Cup blueberries Fresh or Frozen
- ½ Cup diced apple of choice
- 1 tablespoon 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoon almond flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract you can sub with Vanilla powder
The Top Crisp
- 4 tablespoon rolled oats use gluten free if you need
- 1 tablespoon almond flour
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil melted
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon coconut sugar
Topping Vegan Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 350°F/ 176°C.
- In a mixing bowl add the blueberries, diced apples, almond flour, vanilla extract and lemon juice, stir together and set aside.i
