Today i' sharing how to make homemade 4 ingredients Raspberry Chia Jam on the blog today. This raspberry chia jam is a healthy alternative to the traditional that’s sweet and lush. The ingredients are wholesome and minimal, with just 4 ingredients.

It’s a vegan and gluten-free jam that’s ready in minutes, and that you can feel good snacking on. Trust me, you will never buy store-bought again.

This recipe post has been a long time coming, since I use Raspberry Chia Jam in a lot of my recipes. I love to spread this jam on toast for a sweet and easy breakfast, or top on oatmeal pudding or was a filling for my Almond Linzer Cookies.

So here’s a quick break down and the recipe and thanks for your patience. Now you can have this jam in your fridge too, to enjoy throughout the week for a sweet breaky or dessert!

What you need to make Chia Jam?

    • Chia Seeds
    • Raspberries ( fresh or frozen)
    • Maple syrup
    • Sea salt

As you can see, the ingredients are so simple! And you can use either fresh or frozen raspberries depending on the season. If you don't have raspberries, swap with other berries you like.

Truly, anyone can make this recipe.

How to make the Chia Jam?

In addition to the simple ingredients, making chia jam so incredibly simple. There is nothing finicky or time consuming, and you don’t need any fancy gadgets.

All you need is a saucepan and a stove-top. Simmer everything together until you’ve reached desired consistency. Then let cool.

Voila, you just made chia jam. I told you it was easy peasy.

It’s fun to know as well that this chia jam can be used as a base recipe for whatever flavour you like. Simply swap the raspberries for strawberries, blueberries, or other fruits of your choice.

    Base:

Remember: the base to making chia jam is always chia seeds, maple syrup and sea salt. The fruits can be swapped to your favourites.

    Fruits:

For this recipe I’ve used raspberries as it’s my favourite type of jam, but you can also use strawberry or blueberry as an alternative. They are equally gorgeous.

Simply follow the recipe the same as you would if using raspberries, but swap the fruits for your favourite.

HOW LONG DOES CHIA JAM KEEP?

Chia jam will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Enjoy slathered on toast or topped onto oatmeal or porridge bowls . Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, try this chia jam in my Almond Linzer Cookies recipe.

So there we have it!  A simple recipe for Raspberry Chia Jam that is healthy, sweet and delightful. Spread onto toast or top onto your favourite oatmeal bowls. I know you’re going to love this recipe!
