Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner I thought it would be a perfect time to show you how to create some really easy strawberry roses which pairs perfectly with these Fudgy Brownies and pairs well with this amazing strawberry shortcake .

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it! Do you get excited around this time? I’ve never been one for Valentine’s Day but I do love all the red & pink goodies and flowers that pop-up everywhere around this time of year. So much lovey-doviness in the air.
How Easy To Carve A strawberry
- Easy to make! Slicing them takes less than one minute.
- They look fancy and decorative, anyone would be amazed just by seeing it. You can use them to decorate cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, or to dip in melted chocolate or whipped cream.I'm not judging.
- They are gorgeous and SEXXXAY!!! They really are so pretty to look at aren’t they?
Ingredients
Use strawberry roses to garnish desserts or create a “bouquet” as a gift for your loved ones. All you need :
- Large size Strawberries, washed and dried.
- Wooden skewer to hold strawberry
- Pairing knife 1
Step by Step eHow to crave strawberries into roses
- With the pointed end of the strawberry upwards, you are ready to start carving!
- Starting at the bottom, make a small slit but do not cut all the way through.
- Use your knife to very gently curl the tip of the "petal" by pressing it back.
- Do the same for other raws.
- Starting above the row you just made, between two petals, make another slit.
- Curl the petal back gently.
.I like to use this pairing knife, they are perfect for fruit craving.
- To finish the rose, make a slit down the tip and press back gently to curl the tips.
- Slit the top of the strawberry to create a rose “bud.”
- Gently push back each of the “petals” to create your desired rose shape.
Equipment
All you need is :

- Use a small sharp pairing knife to help you easily crave the strawberry.
- Choose large Strawberries with pointed tips and leaves
- It is easier to slice the strawberries when they are on the skewer.
- Do not cut all the way through.
- Remove this block, and replace it with the recipe card her
HOW TO EASILY CRAVE A STRAWBERRY INTO A ROSE
Equipment
- Wooden skewer
- Pairing knife
Ingredients
- Large Strawberries with pointed tips and leaves, washed and dried
Instructions
- Insert the skewer into the bottom of the strawberry (where the leaves are) With the pointed end of the strawberry upwards.
- Start at the bottom, make a small slit but do not cut all the way through.
- Use your knife to very gently curl the tip of the "petal" by pressing it back.
- Congrats, you made your first petal! Repeat on the other 3 sides of the strawberry until you have four "petals" at the base of the strawberry.
- Make another row! Starting above the row you just made, between two petals, make another slit.
- Curl the petal back gently.
- Repeat on the other 3 sides of the strawberry.
- To finish the rose, make a slit the top of the strawberry to create a rose “bud.”
- Gently push back each of the “petals” to create your desired rose shape.
- Repeat this process with as many strawberries as you would like to create a rose “bouquet.”

- Wash and dry the strawberries before using.
- I love using California Strawberries when I make strawberry roses.
- Keep the strawberry tops, don't thraw them away, you can make instead Strawberry top Vinegar.
